The
letter (D) is a work that combines design, technology, and
accessibility. Represented on cotton t-shirts using the Braille system, this
piece is part of the exhibition “Braille and Inclusive Tactile Digital Art.”
Each work includes a QR code that directs to digital content with texts,
videos, and explanatory images, offering a multisensory and educational
experience for people with and without visual disabilities. |

Uppercase Letter (D) in Braille
To encode the uppercase letter (D),
it is necessary to place the uppercase generator cell, encoded with dots (4)
and (6) from the second column, first. Then, a second cell is added, encoding
the letter (D) with dots (1), (4), and (5). This creates the uppercase letter
(D) in Braille.
Lowercase Letter (d) in Braille.
To create
the lowercase letter (d), a generator cell is used, with dots (1), (4), and (5)
from the two columns of the six-dot generator cell, resulting in the lowercase
letter (d).
